Sky Sports has reported that the Canaries are looking to make a move for 23-year-old Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel but may face competition from Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle for the Dutch International. Portuguese journalist João Ruela tweeted yesterday: “Norwich offered €10M for Van Wolfswinkel and is waiting for a reply till Sunday. Sporting Lisbon is looking to sell him.”

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is reported to be keeping track of Slovenian striker Robert Beric, who played against his Birmingham team last year. The 21-year-old caught the eye for NK Maribor when he scored in their Europa League clash against Tottenham and has also now made the step up from under-21 level to full international football.
