Greg Akcelrod played for Norwich City reserves against Kirkley & Pakefield on 2nd September 2008.

Greg is believed to be a former Paris St German player who has also trialled with Falkirk, Hibs, Swindon, Cwmbran Town, Red Bull New York and Bournemouth. It was later revealed that it was PSG's amateur side that he had joined in September 2006. He had embellished his playing career and had actually played for French amateur side Saint-Lo Manche and Belgian side Royale Union Sportive Givry.

He later trained with Argentinian side Club Athletico Tigre in Buenos Aires and with Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia but wasn't taken on. He also had trials in Greece and Kuwait and was in contact with clubs in Luxembourg. In July 2011 he joined Canadian side Mississauga Eagles on a three year contract. He later played for Andorra side Atletic America before becoming an agent.
