Former Norwich City youth team player Anthony Alexander (a trainee
professional in 1997/98) returned to his London roots to play
for Fulham's youth side. Since released, he had trials with Enfield
in the summer of 1999 but was not taken on.
Prior to joining Norwich, he had been with Watford as an associate schoolboy (1993-96) and then had trials with Wycombe, Colchester and Leyton Orient. It was with the latter that the Canaries spotted him when he played for Orient against them, leading to a trial in October 1996 and then taking him on as an apprentice.
What he did in the next three years is currently unknown but
he signed for Hertford Town of the Ryman League in the summer
of 2002.
