Bradley Andrews from
Bristol progressed through the Norwich City youth setup and was
a trainee professional in 1997/98 seeking to make his full debut.
He attended Bristol City's school of excellence earlier in his
career and also had trials at Manchester United, Arsenal and Southampton as well as playing for youth teams Bitterne Park Boys, Bromley Heath United and Bristol Schoolboys..
He almost didn't join the Canaries having confused the calibre
of the Canary Rangers side with that of the true Norwich youth
setup. Eventually he came to realise that Norwich offered him
the best opportunity to progress and that a YTS place would follow
two years as a schoolboy. .
Bradley returned to Bristol in March 1998 joining Bristol Rovers
first on trial and then permanently as his opportunities at Carrow
Road were limited. Despite playing for the Rovers first team,
Bradley was released at the end of the season according to the
30th May edition of Sport First. Bradley later played for
non-leaguers Mangotsfield but spent 2000/01 in Australia. He returned
in July 2001 to join Clevedon Town. By December 2002, he
had dropped into the Screwfix Premier Division to join Bristol
side Brislington.
Bradley joined Almondsbury Town (Hellenic Lge) in August 2006
In November 2009 he transferred to Cinderford Town becoming their assistant manager in April 2011.
