Balckburn Rovers goalkeeper William Blease played on trial for Norwich City's Under-18s in their 3-3 draw at Crystal Palace on 15th April 2023.

He joined Blackburn at Under-16 level having previously been with Rochdale

In 2021, Blease linked up with the Republic of Ireland Under-19s for a training camp.

Blease was released by Blackburn on 19th May 2023. After brief spells with Ashton United and Eccleshall, he moved to the USA on 1st August 2024 to study at Miami Dade College and play for their football team 'The Sharks'
