According to the Canadian Soccer website, striker Emilio Botiglieri had a trial with Norwich. The striker, who was born in Maple Ridge in 1979, also has had trials with Wolves and Motherwell before joining Hibs. He has had loan spells with Albion Rovers and Partick Thistle before joining East Fife in November 2000. He was released at the end of the 2000/01 season and joined Greenock Morton

Emilio has returned to Canada and played for Sapperton Rovers in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League, and Metro-Ford Wolves
