Hailing from Islington, North London, Richard Bouton was in Norwich's Under-12s schoolboy team in 1997/98. This midfielder cum striker later joined Reading's academy until he was released in the summer of 2004. After a short spell on the south coast with Torquay, he joined Yeading in October 2004 and scored his first goal the following month in the FA Trophy clash with Croydon.
