Biography

Joe Burgess from Whittlesey was part of the Under-15 squad in 2010/11 but was not given an academy contract for the 2012/13 season (according to the matchday programme for the game vs Wolves on 24th March 2012), He had joined Norwich from Woodston Dynamo in 2005/6.

He signed for Peterborough United in February 2012. By August 2014, he was with Histon. he then joined Ilkeston Town from which he won a trial with Fleetwood for whom he signed in January 2015.

He returned to Ilkeston for the 2015/16 season.
