Adam Burton was in the Norwich City Under 15 squad that won the
Northern Ireland Milk Cup in August 2001. Attending Downham Market
High School at the time, he was described in the Norwich City
matchday programme for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday on 27th
August 2001 as "very committed and whole hearted, making
good progress through the ranks."
He moved to King's Lynn youth squad and progressed into their
reserves during 2003/4. he later tried to establish himself in
Cyprus.
Following personal problems at home including the break-up of
his parent's marriage and the death of his beloved grandfather,
Adam went on an arson rampage setting fires to homes in Downham
and Denver. Thankfully no-one was harmed. Adam was sentenced to
three years' youth custody in November 2006
