Matt Carmichael plays upfront for Harwich and Parkeston of the
Ridgeons Football League. Matt spent time with Norwich as a youngster,
joining them from Ipswich's set-up. A regular with the East Anglia
representative side, Matt played for them in Holland, Denmark
and the USA. They also won the Canary Cup.
Matt later spent time with Colchester's youth side. Non-league
clubs he has played for include Little Oakley, Harwich (twice),
Wivenhoe, Maldon and Halstead. He scored 36 goals for Harwich
during 2003/4 but left to join former team-mate Gareth Heath and
ex-manager Andy Clark at Premier Division rivals Halstead Town.
He moved to Tiptree from Halstead in October 2005. He returned
to Harwich for the third time in November 2005.
