Norwich City announced on 7th June 2000 that 28 year old French
left midfielder Pierre Chavrondier would be joining the club on
trial during the pre-season. Pierre had spent the 1999/2000 season
with Lorient. Pierre returned to France with his trial period
cut short in early July 2000. Bryan Hamilton
stated "We just didn't think he was right for what we wanted".
Prior to his trip to Norfolk, Pierre had played for Lyon (1990-1996),
Martigues (1992/93 on loan), Gueugenon (1994/95 on loan) and Chateauroux
(1996-1999) before joining Lorient.
Pierre joined Clermont Foot for the 2001/02 season but moved
on to Ales for 2002/03
