allnigeriasoccer.com reported on 17th May 2021 that former Burnley youngster Udoka Chima had been offered a trial by Newcastle but was also wanted by Portuguese sides Benfica and Braga. The same article said that centre-back Chima grew up in North London and went on trial at the likes of Norwich City, Coventry City and Luton Town before being snapped up by Sean Dyche’s Burnley in July 2018. He was released by Burnley in July 2020.
