Ben Chrisene began his football career at Exeter City joining their academy aged 11 and was linked with a move to Liverpool. He made his Exeter debut on 13th August 2019 in the EFL Cup against Coventry aged 15 years, 7 months and 1 day becoming the club's youngest ever player. His league debut came in January 2020 against Cambridge United.
On 19th August 2020 he moved to Aston Villa for an undisclosed fee, initially joining their academy. The following November he made his Villa debut in the EFL Trophy against Carlisle and made his senior debut against Liverpool in the FA Cup on 8th January 2021. On 24th May 2021 he scored the opening goal as Villa won the FA Youth Cup defeating Liverpool 2-1.
In August 2022 he joined Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on a seasonlong loan but injury in January 2023 limited him to 16 appearances.
Another loan came in January 2024 when he joined Blackburn for the remainder of the season. He played 18 games for Rovers.
He transferred to Norwich for an undisclosed fee on 30th July 2024 on a four year deal with Norwich having the option of an additional year.
He has represented England at under-15, under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-20 levels (where he met up with Kellen Fisher, Brad Hills and Abu Kamara who helped sell City to him).
He made his Norwich debut on 17th August 2024 in the 2-2 home draw against Blackburn, starting the game but was substituted on 58 minutes. Chrisene scored his first goal for Norwich on 21st September 2024 scoring the fourth in Norwich's 4-1 defeat of Watford. He had come on as substitute four minutes earlier.
