Biography
Norwich City announced on 4th September 2000 that Portuguese midfielder Joao Carlos Costa was joining them on trial alongside American defender Gregg Berhalter . Costa played in the 4-1 Reserves' victory over Bristol City on 7th September but the Canaries did not pursue any further interest in him
