Charlie Coulson played for Norwich's youth team in a pre-season defeat against Boston United on 13th July 2014.

He was formerly with Peterborough United whom he joined at the age of 13 from Rushden & Diamonds. He made one first team appearance for Peterborough, playing in the last game of the 2011/12 against Watford coming on as substitute and becoming Peterborough's second youngest first team player. He was released by mutual consent on 2nd June 2014.

He later joined St Neots Town on trial before joining Ilkeston. He returned to St Neots in February 2016.
