He joined West Brom as their Head of Sport Science and Performance in June 2018.
Davies left the Baggies on 26th June 2021 days after Barnsley's Valerien Ismael was appointed as the head coach after Sam Allardyce stepped down following the Baggies relegation from the top-flight last season. The following month he joined West Ham for the third time in his career.
In March 2023 he took on the role of Head of Performance for the Welsh national team replacing Tony Strudwick.
