After weeks of speculation Manchester City defender Callum Doyle completed his loan signing for Norwich City on 6th August 2024 and made his debut, starting at left-back against Oxford United on 10th August 2024. Doyle scored his first Norwich goal when he netted the opener in the 4-1 home win against Watford on 21st September 2024.
Doyle began his career at Manchester City but at the time of his loan, had only played in the EFL Trophy for the Citizens. In July 2021 he joined Sunderland on loan making his professional debut on 7th August 2021 against Wigan. His first professional goal came on 30th December 2021 in a 5-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday. He played a total of 44 games for the Black Cats as they won promotion via the play-offs.
The e022-23 season saw him loaned to Coventry City where he played 46 games.
The following campaign saw him make 23 appearances amongst injuries as Leicester City won the Championship.
He has been capped by England at Under-18, Under-19 (winning the European Under-19 Championship in June 2022), Under-20 and Under-21, scoring on his debut for the latter against Luxembourg in September 2023.
