Olumide Durojaiye trialled with Norwich in the summer of 2012,
playing in August friendlies against Wroxham (0-0) and Lowestoft
(2-2). A former Tottenham youth team central defender, he was
released by Spurs at the end of the 2010/11 season. He trialled
with Cheltenham in the Spring of 2011, Brentford in the summer
of 2011 and Oxford in September 2011
Olumide has chosen to represent Nigeria rather than England,
and had been called up to their Under-20 development squad.
Olu apparently signed for the Canaries as he played for their
Under-21s in their opening clash of the Premier League Under-21
League beating Blackburn on 20th August 2012. His Twitter account
(@Olumide_D) also confirmed he had signed for Norwich.
He followed Gary Holt to Scottish side
Falkirk on 9th May 2013. He had made 23 appearances for the Under-21s,
scoring three goals. His last game for Norwich was the 2-0 Norfolk
Senior Cup Final victory over Wroxham on 16th May 2013
He later played for Enfield Town before joining Hayes & Yeading in March 2016. He then played for Hungerford Town, Haringey Borough and Welling United before joining Braintree in the summer of 2008.
On 21st September he signed for Conference side Maidstone having played seven games for Braintree. He had another brief spell with Haringey during the 2018/19 season. On 28th February 2019, he joined National League South side Woking and helped them to promotion back to the National League via the play-offs..
On 23rd July 2019 he rejoined Haringey Borough. He moved back to Welling on 22nd January 2021.
By the start of the 2022/23 season he was playing for Peterborough Sports.
