24 year old Tromso
IL left winger Frode Fermann arrived at Carrow Road at the beginning
of January 2000 for a week's trial with Norwich. Due to play in
the Reserve clash with Millwall on Wednesday 5th January, this game
was called off but was replaced by a clash with Gillingham that
had been postponed before Christmas. Formerly with Silsand and Cercle
Brugge, Frode has 16 caps for the Norwegian Under 21 side.
Unfortunately injury prevented Fermann from playing in the 3-1 defeat
by Gillingham reserves. Later I discovered that Frode never made
the journey across to Norwich due to his injury (Gilmore's Groin).
Maybe he doesn't belong on this site at all...
Frode had a trial in August 2000 with West Bromwich Albion but was
not "what they were looking for". In January 2002, Frode joined
Norwegian Second Division side Skarp IL
