Cambridge United goalkeeper Tom Finch played on trial for Norwich's Under-18s in their 2-1 win over Chelsea on 4th May 2024.

He had signed his first contract with Cambridge in July 2023 having progressed through the U’s Academy where he began as an outfielder within the foundation phase before making the switch to between the sticks. He had joined Cambridge when he was eight. A big character who provided the U18s with a strong base to build from, Finch experienced senior football for the first time in 2022/23 featuring for St Neots Town on a number of occasions.

He had a loan at AFC Dunstable in August 2023 and at Corby Town in January 2024.

He joined Norwich's academy in July 2024.
