Biography

Liverpool's Academy winger Sam Gainford played on trial for Norwich's Under-18s in a 0-0 draw at Arsenal on 4th March 2013.

He joined Liverpool at the age of 10.

Gainford trialled with Birmingham in April 2013, playing against Leeds and Sheffield United

On 8th July 2013, it was announced that he was joining the University of Akron in Ohio, on a soccer scholarship
