On 30th August 2024 Norwich signed 19 year old defender Billy Gee from Chelsea. He signed a contract until 2026 with a club option of a further year and will initially be part of the development squad. Predominantly a centre-back, Gee can also play as a defensive midfielder.

He joined Chelsea at the age of 8 and was captain for their Under-21s side during 2023/24 and was on the bench for the Carabao Cup final with Liverpool in February 2024.

He has represented England's youth sides at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level 

He said "I'm very happy, it's the start of a new chapter. I'm ready for the new challenge. I was captain last season for the (Chelsea) Under-21s so I think I can bring leadership skills and I think I can bring a lot of on-the-ball ability. I hope I can break through and try to push for the first team."
