Cambridge City Under-16 goalkeeper Gene Ghag was inviited to trial with the Norwich City Academy, City Select programme for goalkeepers.in March 2023. The Norwich City Select programme that is designed to give local young footballers the chance to train weekly at the Canaries, Colney training ground, under the guidance of Academy coaches with the primary aim of these players breaking into the full Academy.
