French fullback Louis Gomis had a trial with the Canaries in
the first week of September 2001. Norwich opted not to pursue
their interest in Gomis or fellow triallist Elie
Kroupi.
Louis spent 1991-1997 at Nice before joining Bordeaux. After
a spell in Belgium with Lommel, Louis signed for bankrupt Toulouse
in 1999 where he played with Marc Libbra.
He moved to Germany in 2001/02 signing for Nurnberg before
moving on to Duisberg on 7th January 2002 - although he is reported
to have had a trial with Aberdeen in February 2002.
In 2003, he joined Belgian side Mons. The following year, he
joined Cypriot side Apolloan Limassol before returning to France
to play for Angers. He moved to Tunisian side CS SFaxien in 2005
and then to CSH Life (Tunisia) in 2006. Since 2009, he has been
