Triallist Jorge Grant played for Norwich City's Under-18s against
Aston Villa on 2nd February 2013, a game in which Norwich won
1-0. Jorge is with the Nike Academy and was previously with Reading
(leaving the Royals in the summer of 2012).
He joined Notts Forest's Academy and made his professional debut
on 12th August 2014 as an 87th minute substitute in a 1-0 win over
Tranmere Rovers. He scored his first professional goal in Forest's
3-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Spurs on 25th September 2014.
On 31st January 2017, Grant made the short trip across the Trent to join Notts County on loan until the end of the 2016/17 season, He had played 17 league games for Forest.
He rejoined County on loan on 20th July 2017, staying at Meadow Lane for the whole of the 2017/18 season. After scoring 16 goals in 32 appearances in the first half ot the 2017/18 season and helping County to second place in League Two, he was linked on 5th January 2018 with a move to Norwich according to the Press Association. He scored a total of 19 goals in 56 appearances for County.
On 6th July 2018 he was loaned again, this time joining Luton for the 2018/19 season. However on 14th January 2019, he was loaned instead to Mansfield. He scored four goals in 22 games on loan at Luton
Grant joined Lincoln City on 5th July 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
He moved to Peterborough on 29th June 2021 signing a three year contract with the Posj activating a release clause in his contract. He had played 89 times for Lincoln and scored 17 goals in 2020/21.
He made 10 appearances, scoring once, in 2021/22 as Peterborough were relegated from the Championship.
On 27th June 2022, Grant transferred to Scottish side Heart of Midlothian for an undisclosed fee, signing a three year contract.
