Tom Hart joined Norwich City's Academy in the summer of 2022 from Watford to work with Norwich's Under-15s to Under-21s. Tom had been at City previously working at the North West London centre of excellence as head coach between October 2017 and August 2018 according to his LinkedIn profile. He had also scouted for Norwich since JJanuary 2017. He then joined Watford as Youth Development Phase Coach in August 2018, stepping up to become Professional Development Phase Coach in November 2018.

Prior to joining Norwich the first time he had been an academy coach at Stevenage as well as Head of Coaching for the Pro Direct Academy.

He was promoted to the role of Head of Coaching for the academy in July 2023 replacing Joe Shulberg who became Academy Manager.
