Biography

Equally happy at right back or in the centre of defence, defender Adam Hinshelwood was called up to the England Under-21 squad for his displays during the 2004/5 season with Brighton. He had begun his footballing career with Norwich playing for their Under-14s in 1997/98.

Adam was one of 13 players released by Brighton at the end of the 2008/9 season. After a trial, he signed for Aldershot on 29th July 2009

Adam moved to Wycombe Wanderers in January 2010 who are managed by former Aldershot manager Gary Waddock.

He retired in the summer of 2010 following a serious knee injury

As of the 2011/2012 season Hinshelwood was appointed Assistant Manager of non-league club Hastings United. His tenure was short lived, and he headed for pastures new, deciding to follow in his family's footsteps by becoming the manager of Sussex County League side, Selsey replacing former manager Ian Martin
