Equally happy at right
back or in the centre of defence, defender Adam Hinshelwood was
called up to the England Under-21 squad for his displays during
the 2004/5 season with Brighton. He had begun his footballing
career with Norwich playing for their Under-14s in 1997/98.
Adam was one of 13 players released by Brighton at the end of
the 2008/9 season. After a trial, he signed for Aldershot on 29th
July 2009
Adam moved to Wycombe Wanderers in January 2010 who are managed
by former Aldershot manager Gary Waddock.
He retired in the summer of 2010 following a serious knee injury
As of the 2011/2012 season Hinshelwood was appointed Assistant
Manager of non-league club Hastings United. His tenure was short
lived, and he headed for pastures new, deciding to follow in his
family's footsteps by becoming the manager of Sussex County League
side, Selsey replacing former manager Ian Martin
