Norwich Under 14 player Andrew Howell was called up in February
2003, along with teammate Seb Muddell,
to attend England international trials at Lilleshall. He progressed
to Norwich's Under-16 squad. In March 2005, it was reported that
Andrew was to join QPR at the start of next season as a first
year trainee. Andrew can play either as a left sided central defender
or at left back.
He made his professional debut for the QPR First Team in their 3-2
win over Northampton Town in the 1st Round of the League Cup in
August 2006. He was a regular in QPR's reserves during 2007/8 but
was loaned out to Wealdstone in February 2008 until the end of the
season
Andrew was released by QPR in the summer of 2008
After spending the 2008/9 season with Tooting & Mitcham United
where he was player of the year, Howell signed for Braintree Town
on 11th June 2009
He later joined Gorleston before moving to Wroxham in June 2014.
