In February 2023, Danny Hoyle left his role as Norwich's Northern Academy recruitment head to join Brighton and Hove Albion as a national area co-ordinator for the Seagulls.

He is the son of Huddersfield owner Dean Hoyle and spent seven years with the Terriers in commercial departments before joining Norwich initially as first team scouting co-ordinator and then leading the club's academy recruitment strategy in the north and Scotland since July 2021.
