Norwich
City Under-16 Academy defender Blaine Hudson made his first start
for the Norwich Under-18s in the 3-0 win over Millwall on 15th December
2007 and was named Man of the Match
At the end of the 2007/8 season, Hudson left Norwich and accompanied
Cambridge United on tour. Impressing he signed a scholarship with
them at the end of June 2008.
In early December 2011, Blaine joined Conference South side Thurrock.
He returned to Cambridge but has been loaned to Braintree and
Welling.
After being released by Cambridge at the end of the 2013/14 season,
Blaine signed a one year deal with Wrexham on 29th May 2014.
He was released by Wrexham on 18th May 2016.
He then joined Chester but was released at the end of the 2016/17 season. On 18th May 2017, he signed for Welsh champions The New Saints (TNS).
In August 2024 Hudson was part of the TNS squad that beat FK Panevėžys 3-0 to quality for the group stages of the Europa Conference League, becoming the first side from the top-flight Cymru Premier to feature in the group stages of a European competition
