Daniel Jolly, then a 19 year old forward with Uppingham Town
of the Leicester and District League Premier Division, played
for Norwich Reserves in their 1-1 draw at Wimbledon on 16th September
1998 and in a further Reserves team match. Although he endured
an ankle injury, Norwich offered him a three month contract in
early November 1998 to begin once he had recovered from injury.
The club would assist his healing process and if he impressed
once fully fit, would offer a longer term contract. However Norwich
later decided that Daniel wasn't what they were looking for and
terminated their agreement with him.
Daniel had another run-out with the Reserves on 17th July 1999
when he played in the 2-2 draw at Bishop's Stortford.
The Non-League Paper of November 5th 2004 revealed that
Dan was still playing for Uppingham Town, scoring against Long
Sutton Athletic
In early July 2005, Daniel signed for United Counties League
side Blackstones.
