When Paul
Lambert was appointed Norwich city manager on 18th August
2009, he brought with him from Colchester Ian
Culverhouse and Gary Karsa. Karsa had also been Youth Development
Officer at Wycombe, Leyton Orient, Barnet and Charlton
Karsa, Culverhouse and Lambert helped Norwich to the Division
One title in their first season at Carrow Road, followed by a
second place finish in the Championship in 2010/11. In their first
season in the Premiership, Norwich finished 12th.
When Paul Lambert quit to take charge at Aston Villa, Karsa and
Culverhouse followed, leaving Norwich on 5th July 2012 to take
up similar roles at Villa Park.
In April 2014, Karsa and Culverhouse were suspended by Villa
after being accused of bullying and aggressiveness by players
and other staff members. They were sacked in May 2014.
On 16th October 2015, he joined QPR as head of academy recruitment.
