Midfielder Ben King from Dereham signed Associate Schoolboy forms with the Canaries in November 1988. He captained the England Under 15s against Sweden and was set for a promising career before injury cut it short. After time with Cambridge United, Lincoln City, Stockport County and Notts County, he played for Dereham in local soccer as well as managing their Under-18s.

Now a coach with the Norwich City academy, Ben has gained his UEFA' B' license in 2002 and hopes to progress and gain the UEFA 'A' license. He also works for Personal Best Soccer.
