Danish Youth and
Schoolboy international Anders Koogi followed
Kit
Carson from his Canary Rangers to Peterborough at the age of
12/13. Anders progressed through Peterborough's youth and reserve
ranks to make his league debut as substitute on the final day of
the 1998/99 season against Scarborough. Anders plays in midfield
in an anchor role.
Anders' contract expired at the end of the 1999/2000 season and
with the Posh attempting to reduce their wage bill, any new contract
would be on reduced terms. Preparation for a new beginning began
in February 2000 when Anders joined Cambridge City of the Dr Martens
League on loan. Anders then went to Southend United on trial at
the beginning of April 2000 as he searches for a new club. At the
end of July 2000, Anders joined Cambridge United on loan, seeking
to win a permanent contract at the Abbey Stadium.
Anders eventually returned to Denmark and rebuilt his career with
Danish First Division side Koge. He is currently with Roskilde BK
