James Krause joined Norwich as first-team coach on 27th June 2025 having worked with Norwich manager Liam Manning at Oxford United and Bristol City.
Krause began his playing career with Ipswich winning the FA Youth Cup in 2004/5 and England Under-17 honours. He made his league debut on loan to Carlisle in 2006/7. Released by Ipswich in May 2007 he played for Rushjden and Diamonds, Crawley Town and Cambridge City. He returned to Ipswich in November 2011 and spent almost four years in various roles with their Academy.
Krause later worked in the analysis department at Arsenal from 2015 before joining Manning's coaching team at Oxford in July 2023.
