Norwich City's benji McCabe was called up to Wales' Under-15s in November 2019 for clashes with Slovakia. Also in the squad was Norwich teammate Alex Roberts. He had joined Norwich in the summer of 2019 at under-14 level.

Je made five appearances for the Under-18s during 2021/22, making his debut in a 10-0 defeat to Aston Villa on 21st August 2021.

McCabe signed a contract with Norwich as an apprentice in July 2022. Although formerly a central midfielder, the club see him as a right-back.

Benji was released by Norwich in May 2024.
