Jamaican international defender Marco McDonald joined Norwich
on trial in July 2000. The conditions of his work permit meant
that he could not play in any games where there were paying spectators
so he was limited to reserve team clashes, behind closed doors,
against Wimbledon and Arsenal. Despite two victories (3-1 and
4-3 respectively), Marco was informed his services were not required
two days later on 28th July.
Marco currently plays for Jamaican side Waterhouse, joining them
from Tivoli Gardens in 2006.
