Andy McGovern is an attacking striker who is very versatile in all positions in midfield and forward. He was the leading goal scorer who become the all time Oakley Lodge Youth Football Club's all time top scorer with 107 goals over 6 seasons. He represented the Borough of Corby in the Aberdeen International Festival of football and finished runners up to Dundee United. Andy has had trials with Norwich City, Northampton Town, Rushden & Diamonds, and Kettering Town. In 2001/2002 he played for Stewart & Lloyd before going to the United States to attend Wesley College a Division 3 school located in Delaware. He is now at the University of Trevecca Nazarene.
