Stevenage goalkeeper Rylee Mitchell played on trial for Norwich City's Under-21s in their 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on 27th January 2025. He had spent time on loan to Oxford City from 29th August 2024 to 31st October 2024 making five appearances in National League North. He has also had loans at Potters Bar Town and Royston Town..
In October 2023, he was selected to join England’s Development Training Camp and was put through his paces by England’s team of goalkeeper coaches at St George’s Park.
Mitchell was named on the bench for Stevenage’s final six games of the 202425 League One campaign - but didn't make a senior appearance for Boro.
On 17th June he signed for Norwich on a contract until 2028 and will initially link up with Olly Lee’s U21 squad ahead of next season as part of a wider revamp of their goalkeeper department. Norwich are understood to have paid a nominal fee to sign him.
