17 year old Belgian left-back Rob Nizet joined Norwich on 1st July 2019. He
signed a three-year contract, initially joining up with the development squad.
he had been at Anderlecht for four seasons but had not signed professional terms so the Canaries will only need to pay youth compensation.
He has been capped at Under-15 and Under-16 levels by Belgium and has 15 caps at Under-17 level already, helping to reach the quarter-finals of the Uefa European U17 Championship in Ireland in June 2019.
In September 2019, he was called up by Belgium's under-19s
On 7th July 2021 it was reported that Belgian side Sporting Charleroi are keen to take Norwich City youngster Rob Nizet back to Belgium after the left-back entered the final year of his Canaries contract. That was according to Brussels-based newspaper DH les Sports, in a report this morning which claimed the Belgian top-flight side are tracking the 19-year-old.
On 18th August 2021 he transferred to Italian side Lecce for an undisclosed fee. He had made a total of 42 appearances across the Premier League 2, EFL Trophy and FA Youth Cup for the Under-23s and Under-18s teams.
