According to the Non League Club Directory 1989 , ex-Norwich, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers striker Wayne Noble was playing for Conference side Yeovil. He later joined Gloucester City. After a spell with other clubs including Bath City, Trowbridge, Cheltenham, Salisbury, Cinderford and Weston Super-Mare, Wayne joined Clevedon Town as Assistant Manager in November 1996 but departed them in the summer of 2001

Wayne rejoined Bristol Rovers in 2004 as a coach in their communtity department. He had originally joined Rovers as an apprentice in 1983 and made his first team debut at the age of 16. He went on to make 21 appearances for Rovers
