Promising young striker Chad Pillar made such an impact at Great Yarmouth Town that he was invited to Carrow Road for trials although injuries limited his ability to impress. Nothing further came from this move and Chad later moved to close rivals Gorleston during the summer of 2002. In Augist 2004, Chad joined Acle United of the Anglian Combination. He is now believed to be playing for Halvergate.
