Defender
Ben Price was in the Norwich City Under 15 squad that won the Northern
Ireland Milk Cup in August 2001. A former pupil of Sherringham High
School, he was not taken on as a professional by the Canaries despite
being with the club for 6/7 years. Instead the club helped him establish
a scholarship with Southend in the summer of 2001.
In November 2004, he joined Cambridge City on work experience, making
his debut in a 3-0 defeat for their Reserves against Newmarket on
17th November. He returned to Roots Hall in mid-December. He left
Southend for Billericay at the end of the 2004/5 season.
Ben returned to Norfolk in the summer of 2006 joining Anglian Combination
side Sherringham. He spent some of 2006/7 with Dereham Town before
returning to Sherringham
