Louis Ramsay played
on trial for Norwich's Under-18n their 3-1 win over Aston Villa
on 15th February 2014. He was formerly with Tottenham and described as a pacy full-back.
Louis signed on as an
Academy Scholar with Norwich on 8th July 2014 and will be
part of the Under-18s side in 2014/15. He scored the only goal of
the game as Norwich's Under-21s beat the highly rated Villareal
side on 7th October 2015.
On 3rd May 2016, it was announced that Louis had been offered a two year professional contract. He will be part of the development squad.
Due to an injury crisis, Ramsay was on the bench for Norwich's FA Cup Third Round replay defeat at Southamptonn on 18th January 2017. He made 32 appearances for Norwich's Under-23s during 2016/17 and was a key player as they reached two semi-finals.
On 25th July 2017, Ramsay joined Conference side Woking on loan for the entirety of the 2017/18 season. He made his debut on 5th August in a 2-1 win. He made a total of 30 appearances for Woking but could not help them avoind relegation from the Conference. On returning to Norwich, it was announced that his contract would not be renewed.
Ramsay then signed a deal with Leicester where former Norwich U23 head coach Dmitri Halajko is the head of technical coaching. The full-back was a regular under Halajko for City’s U23s during the 2016-17 season. He has been on trial with the Foxes during pre-season and featured in recent friendly games.
He was released by Leicester on 2nd Auguist 2019 and joined Billericay Town. He spent 8th September 2020 to 3rd January 2021 on loan with AFC Hornchurch.
In June 2021 Louis signed for American side Rio Grande Valley who play in the USL Championship, the second tier in US soccer. He made his debut on 6th June 2021 against Paul Dalglish's Miami FC.
After soending the 2022/23 season with Concord Rangers, he rejoined Billericay in May 2023.
