According to the impressive Chelmsford City website, Danny is a "young defender / midfielder who returned to Chelmsford in November 1998 after originally signing from Norwich City during the latter stages of 1997-98, making his senior bow in the final game at Clevedon. Spent seven years at Carrow Road where he progressed to the Football Combination team. Started last season (1998/99) at Colchester United followed by a brief loan period with Heybridge Swifts."

Danny moved on to Wealdstone in the summer of 2000 and onto Edgware Town in December 2001.
