Norwich website Canary Corner reported on 16th January 2002 that 24 year old Belgian defender Gauthier Remacle had joined the Canaries on trial from Charleroi where he no longer fitted in manager Enzo Scifo's plans.

He began his career with LC Bastogne before moving to Standard Liege in July 1994. In July 2000, he moved on to Charleroi. In July 2003, he joined Rot-Weiß Oberhausen before moving to FC Wltz in Luxembourg in July 2005. He joined Estrella Ettelbruck in July 2008 and three years later, moved to FC Orania Vianden becoming player-coach.
