When Ryan Richefond signed for FC Romania of the Southern League in August 2022, it was reported that he had begun his playing career in Norwich's academy before spending three years at Crawley Town where he made three league appearances. He then played non-league football for eatherhead, Bishop's Stortford, Margate, Grays Athletic, Worthing, Loxwood, South Park, Hornchurch, Bishops Stortford, Staines Town, Brentwood before joining FC Romania. He is also an academy coach at Leyton Orient.
