Paul Roberts, from League of Wales side Bangor, played alongside
Craig Bellamy and Paul
Dalglish in a 1-0 victory over Tottenham's Reserves in a friendly
match on 19th April 2000.
Paul began his career with Porthmadog but was signed by Wrexham
for £15,000. Whilst at the Racecourse Ground, he made first team
appearances and won Welsh Under 21 caps. He returned to the League
of Wales with Porthmadog before joining Bangor during 1998/99.
Paul was a regular ay Bangor until the beginning of 2007, and
held the club record for appearances
IHe moved to Rhyl in January 2007 season but made just two starts
and was released at the end of the season. He rejoined Porthmadog,
managed by former Bangor boss Clayton Blackmore, in June 2007.
