On 19th July 2022 it was reported that Norwich City were giving trials to three oyoung Brazilians as part of City's link up with Brazilian side Coritiba. The players are striker Lucas Ronier (17), midfielder Biel (20) and defender Thalisson (20). Coritiba vice president Glenn Stenger said “We have athletes going to Norwich for the evaluation period. We do not want proposals at this time. We want to trade for what they will be worth in the future, not now"

.His full name is Lucas Ronier Vieira Pires and he had played 12 times for Coritiba at the time of his trial.
