Goalkeeper Joe Rose played for Norwich City's under-18s against Seville on 23rd July 2018; the Canaries lost 2-0.
He was an Academy Scholar during 2019/20
On 1st September 2020 he joined Isthmian League North side Bury Town on a season long loan. He signed his first professional contract with Norwich on 4th November 2020. Rose said “It’s a great feeling, I’ve been a fan of the club since a young age, it’s a dream come true. I didn’t expect it a couple of years ago, playing local football. What else can I say other than it’s a dream come true. I used to be a season ticket holder here with my dad, we used to watch every game. I always looked at this pitch and hoped one day I’d be able to play on it”
On 16th September 2022 he was loaned to National League South side Cheshunt for a month.
He signed a contract extention with Norwich in May 2023 but by the beginning of the 2023/24 season was between the sticks for Cheshunt again (now playing in the Isthmian League). It was formally announced on 20th May 2024 that Rose would be leaving Norwich when his contract expires in the summer of 2024.
